XDC Performance Teams

The Xplosion Dance Center Performance Team is designed for dedicated dancers ages 9–18 who are looking to take their dance training to the next level. Team members receive additional performance opportunities, advanced instruction, and the chance to build lasting friendships while representing XDC throughout the community.  

Throughout the season, our Performance Teams:  

⭐ Perform at the Scituate & Cohasset Holiday Stroll events 

⭐ Participate in a 4-hour dance workshop 

⭐ Perform in a community cancer benefit 

⭐ Compete at two regional dance competitions 

⭐ Perform in our annual recital Team Expectations  

Being a member of the Performance Team is both an honor and a commitment. 

Team dancers are expected to:  

⭐Maintain excellent attendance and limit absences. 

⭐Arrive prepared and give 100% effort in every class and rehearsal. 

⭐Demonstrate respect, teamwork, and a positive attitude. 

⭐Represent Xplosion Dance Center with pride both inside and outside the studio. Maintain good academic standing. Participate in required summer choreography and technique classes. 

Performance Team auditions are held each spring. Interested dancers must have been enrolled at Xplosion Dance Center for at least one full dance season before auditioning. Selected dancers are required to participate in team choreography during the month of June to prepare for the upcoming season. 

Performance Team is more than competitions—it's about developing confidence, leadership, teamwork, and friendships that last a lifetime.
