At Xplosion Dance Center, our mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance in every student. We are committed to providing a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can grow, build lasting friendships, and discover their full potential. Through quality instruction, meaningful experiences, and a strong sense of community, we strive to create memories that last a lifetime—both on and off the dance floor.

On July 1, 2005, Miss Michelle proudly purchased Dance Kaleidoscope with a vision of creating a welcoming dance studio where every child could learn, grow, and thrive. In 2011, the studio was rebranded as Xplosion Dance Center, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

What began as a small studio of just 40 dancers in Scituate Harbor has grown into a thriving dance family of more than 200 dancers at our new Cohasset location. While we've grown over the years, our commitment to providing high-quality dance education in a positive, supportive, and family-oriented environment has remained the same.

At Xplosion Dance Center, we believe dance is about so much more than learning choreography. It's about building confidence, creating lifelong friendships, and helping every dancer discover their potential.

We proudly welcome everyone—boys, girls, and adults of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're taking your very first dance class or have years of experience, you'll find a place where you are encouraged, supported, and celebrated.

Giving back is an important part of who we are. For the past 20 years, XDC has proudly participated in The Andrea Gaziano Annual Toy Drive, honoring the memory of former student Andrea Gaziano, who courageously lost her battle with childhood leukemia. Through this tradition, our dancers learn the importance of kindness, compassion, and making a positive impact in our community.

Most importantly, Xplosion Dance Center is more than just a dance studio—it's a second home. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels valued, supported, and loved. We celebrate every achievement, lift each other up through challenges, and create friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
